In the Crystal Report Viewer window,
you can use the controls on the toolbar at top to:
Note: Please perform these Viewer functions right away.

- Use the buttons to go forward and backwards one page at a time, or
to go to the first or last page.
- Export the report (all pages) to .pdf, .doc, .xls, or .rtf formatted file.
Note: Please wait until export is complete before
closing Viewer window
Note: Do not enter the 3-char filename extension(ex: .pdf, .doc).
It will be tacked on automatically based upon the type of file format you chose,
and if you do include it the export will not work
- Toggle On/Off the "Grouping Tree" frame, if one is defined for
the report, in the left of the window. Click on text in group tree
to navigate to page.
- Change the magnification of the report display.
- Enter in a character string to search the report for.
- Drill down on certain data in some reports.
Information displayed in red and underlined in the report can be
expanded into more detail. To do so, put the mouse over this
information until the cursor changes to crosshairs, then double-
click. A separate TAB in the Viewer window will open up and display
the line of inforamtion that was drilled-down upon, and 1 or more lines
of more detailed information that is related to it. To close the
drill-down tab, click the X icon on the toolbar in the upper left-hand corner.
Note: Please perform these Viewer functions right away.
After 5 minutes of inactivity in the Report Viewer window, you will
receive an "APS Logon" window, and you will then need to:
- click Cancel.
- close Logon Window.
- close "Crystal Report Viewer" window.
Then, if necessary:
- Click on Scheduling window Refresh/Reload browser button to re-run
report using the same parameters, or
- use link on "Scheduling Report" window to re-run report
using different parameters.
Note: Viewer initialization behavior.
Depending upon which browser you are using, and how it's preferences are configured,
you will see various Javascript security warnings. Please answer Yes to each.
Also, the 1st time you open a browser window and run a report, it will take
longer for the report to come up in the Crystal Report Viewer. If you do not close the
browser window and run another report, this 2nd, and subsequent launches of the Viewer
will bring up the report much faster.
